Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving we went to my G-ma and G-pa Wood's house in Utah. It was a great day. We had a great time together eating, talking and eating, then eating some more. I just love all of my Wood relatives. My Norm cooked a wonderful meal. My mom decided that we should take pictures of all the grandkids on Grandpa's rock. It was very difficult to get all those little boys to sit still and look at the camera on such an exciting day, so these are the best pictures we could take. It is hard to tell, because it was a foggy day, but in the background is a beautiful view of my grandpa's farm.

Here are my two twirps-Jaxon 6 and Parker 2

This is Colby 3, Chelsi's little cowboy, and for some reason,

he thought this tractor was much neater than the rock.

You have to know this kid to completely understand, but

he is a future farmer/cowboy/bull rider/a real John Deere

type of kid.

This is my grandpa, my dad, and ALL the grandson's.

Mitch, my brother with all his nephews. Hopefull there will

someday be a girl amongst all these rowdie boys.

These are Toni's boys Peyton 11, Stockton 8, Blaize 4, and Eli 2

Feeling Happy!!

I woke up this morning to Parker's eyes one inch away from mine, telling me he loves me and Tyson both the most. It made me happy. Then I remembered that it was the first day of my Thanksgiving Break and that I could roll over and enjoy the comfort of my bed rather than get out of bed, wake up my two little boys, get them ready, race to get my hair done, make up on, breakfast cooked, prepare sack lunches, drop Parker off at the sitters and be to work by 7:45. This made me REAL happy. Then I realized that I get to do this for four more days and I got REALLY REALLY happy, and to top it all off, Tyson wants to take me to see Twilight tonight. (Wonder what he wants?) I am feeling very happy. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Can't wait to see you all-those who will be around!

An Experience to Remember

Me and my girls at beautiful Laguna Beach. What an amazing weekend!!! My mom had never seen the ocean before. We went to visit Toni, and were excited to spend time with her on the beach. It was amazing, these pictures don't do justice. Our hotel was across the street from a beautiful beach, but with our luck, there was a sewage spill and there were signs everywhere saying that the water was contaminated and so we couldn't get in. But is was still amazingly beautiful. I guess that gives us an excuse to go back another time, so my mom can actually swim in the ocean. I am quite sure Toni will never want to go back to that place again though. Maybe we'll have to go to San Diego instead.
Me, Chelsi, Mom, and Toni (a day that will never be forgotten) Chelsi, one of my favorite sisters, who always has to be first at everything-ha ha!! She thinks everything in life is a race and one day she will just realize that she can not beat me!
We have been through a lot together the past couple of months, but I want you all to know that I love you all so much!!!
I laugh because you are my sister, I smile because there is nothing you can do about it.

I am such a dork when it comes to computers, so I have been trying to figure this blogging thing out and I have to admit it is quite fun but very frustrating for a dummy like myself. I have lots to learn. I have been bugging Kelly all night long because I can't figure this crap out on my own. So, thanks Kelly-I hope Desmond stops crying. I think he was trying to tell me that he wants me. I am his favorite aunt you all know. I just have to add this picture of Derrick from our family camping trip. We were trying to get a picture of all the adults and we were all there, except for Frank. Derrick was yelling FRANK as loud as he could and now it doesn't seem so funny, but after four days of camping, we were all wore out and dirty and smelly and for some reason it was hilarious. I especially like Robyn in the backgroud.

My Favorite Time of Year!!!

Halloween is fun, but I am always glad when it is over. It may have something to do with teaching school and having a Halloween Party with 23 out of control loaded with sugar kids and myself trying to control the maddness. We had a fun Halloween, once school was finally out. We, my mom and sister and I took out kids trick-or-treating the old fashion way (I HATE trunk-or-treat). It was so fun walking around the neighborhood from door to door, and watching, especially the older people, take some time with the kids and admiring their costumes. They didn't get as much candy as they would at the truck-or-treat, but who needs all that crap anyway? As you can tell I am an anti-trunk-or -treat type of gal. I think it is just a bunch of greedy kids trying to get as much candy as they can. I especially get annoyed with the older kids who would go around 2-3 times. I'll quit going off on it-sorry!!! We took the kids to the Arctic Circle playland for dinner and let them play for an hour or so, and had the place to ourselves. They gave each kid a halloween flashlight as their treat and then we headed to Chelsi's neighborhood for trick-or-treating. Anyways, a funny thing happened. Stockton's freaky bleeding skeleton costume started leaking blood, so we had to come up with something else for him to wear. It was sad, because he ABSOLUTELY LOVED his costume. We threw together whatever we could find and he was the cutest little girl in heels and lipstick I have ever seen, if Toni had a girl this is what she would look like. At every door he had to explain to everyone that he was only wearing it because Chelsi was making him. We laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. Then we put the kids in the back of my mom's truck and took them to the Dunn house. If you don't know what the Dunn house is, next year you have got to go! It is a house in Whitney that goes all out and I mean really scary all out for Halloween. We had all 7 little boys and Tyson in the back of my mom's truck and they were freaked out-including Tyson (he'll never read this). It was a real fun night.

But, now that Halloween is over with, which is where I started, now it is my favorite time of year. I love the feeling of the holidays. I especially love being a teacher around the holidays, knowing that I have a Thanksgiving and Christmas Break to look forward to.
