The BEST days ever!!!

I wish time would STOP right now. I love this time of year because it means Christmas Break. I love Christmas, but even more than that I LOVE being able to spend all of my time at home with my family. It seems crazy that Jaxon will turn 8 on January 17th and that he will be baptized in February. Holy cow I am getting old. EWWWWWWWWWW!!! We have been having lots of fun the past few weeks.
Our good friend Joyce Sant had us over for Christmas dinner and the kids had fun letting her draw on their tummies.
Jaxon is on the left, then Tyler (Joyce's grandson) then Parker

I could buy Parker a pack of balloons and he would be the happiest kid alive.
This is a picture of the boys on Christmas morning before opening presents. The anticipation was killing them. Christmas was fun as a kid, but I swear it is more fun to be the parent watching your own kids.

We finally gave in and bought a wii, which I have to say has been more fun then I thought it would have been.

She is going to kill me for putting this picture on here because, well just look at her all in her layers of chore clothes, but this is Grandma Lori taking her turn at Guitar Hero and I have to say she is way better then I am.

And there he is, the man of my life bowling, on the wii. He thinks that if he holds that pose every time he will surely get a strike. It worked most of the time, but it was fun watching him think he was all good. Notice the Christmas present he bought himself. The other day out of the blue he went to Logan and came back with this TV. I have to add that we did get at TV stand, so I didn't have to look at the ugly cords and that ugly blanket for too long.

Here is a picture of my oldest child, and my only daughter (with a boy name). Spike is getting old. We have had her for 9 years and she is the BEST dog ever! She loves four-wheeler rides. The other day I was pulling the kids on their sleds behing the four-wheeler and she rode on the back the entire time. I'm gonna miss her when she dies. How long do dogs live anyways???

A BIT OF WHAT WE"VE BEEN UP TO

It seems crazy that it is almost November. We love this time of year for many reasons, but a few of them are: #1 FOOTBALL, #2 the holidays are just around the corner (YEAH!!!) #3 The mountains are BEAUTIFUL!!! #4 Halloween. It has been so long since my last post, so here are some of the things that we have been up to.
Tyson's parents left on their mission to the Marshall Islands on October 19th. We will miss them so so much, but we are excited for them. They will be amazing missionaries and the people of the Marshall Islands will be blessed for having them, and I know we will be blessed as well. If you want to follow out their blog and see some amazing pictures go to http://kkmosermission.blogspot.com/ or follow the link on my side bar.

Tyson is keeping busy with football. This is his first season as head coach for the WS pirates. They've had a good season and we look forward to his first playoff game against Mountain Home in the dome this Saturday. I am nervous already!!

Tyson got to go watch the Colts play the Arizona Cardinals in September with Tyler (bro-in-law) and his 2 oldest boys Peyton & Stockton and a few other friends. Jaxon was going too, but he got the swine-flu the day before they left so he had to stay home. It was a VERY VERY sad weekend for Jaxon.

When Jaxon couldn't go to the game, I promised him I would take him somewhere fun to make up for it. Last weekend we took them to Chuck E. Cheese's, stayed in a hotel, and went swimming. It was fun, but I'm sure not as much fun a the game would have been, but he was happy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE spending time with my boys!!!

Parker's favorite thing to do is help Tyson work. He is Tyson's little shadow. Whenever Tyson does yard work, has to feed cows, mow the lawn, or work in his shop, or whatever, Parker is never too far away.

I love it that Tyson has lots of ambition. Sometimes it makes me crazy, because he is always busy doing something, but I can NEVER complain, because he gets so much stuff done whenever he is home. My favorite thing is that he does all the decorating for the holidays. I wouldn't even know where to find easter decorations, or even the Christmas decorations.

It's all about timing

Lately the sun only shines once in a while and when it does you have to hurry because it doesn't last long and there is so much to do before the next rain: mow the lawn, swim, play, lay on the tramp, pull weeds, play, jog, pull more weeds, bike ride, fish, and play some more, and then mow the lawn again because with all the rain you can see it grow. On this day we were able to soak it in for a few hours. It was SOOO nice.

Parker and his cousin Eli skinny dippin.

Fishing at Twin Lakes, we were catching the crap out of the blue gill.

Jaxon wears this Civil War hat everywhere. I love it because it makes his ears fold down and he looks so dorky and cute at the same time, and he is still young enough that he doesn't care.
Jaxon and his cousin Stockton swimming in VERY COLD water!
Jumping in underwear.

Mowing AGAIN!!! (notice our yellow lawn from the lack of sun shine)

And of course swimming lessons at Downata.

We only had to get out once because of thunder and lightening.

AND today looks really nice, so I am not staying on this computer for one more second, there is way to much to do OUTSIDE . Hope you all enjoy the sun today!

IT'S ABOUT TIME --- I KNOW

So much has happened since my last post (only 3 months worth of stuff) that I really don't know where to start. Life has been busy, like all of yours I am sure, but now that school is out I have lots more free time on my hands and I love it. I love being a mom of two energetic little guys. They definately keep me hopping. Jaxon is such a fun little 7 year old. I love it when he laughs. He has been playing baseball and it is so much fun to watch him. I actually get to help coach his team. He is a little fish. Today, we put up our pool and I had a real hard time getting him out of it. The water is freezing and I really don't know how he can stand it. Jaxons favorite thing is Honey Bunches of Oats (I can't complain). Parker is quite the demanding 3 year old. I think he thinks that the purpose of my existence is to wait on him every second of the day. I just love his curly hair. It needs to be cut SO BAD, but I just can't do it yet. He is a joker and has been ever since he realized he could be one. His favorite thing is chocolate milk (preferably the gossner kind that comes in the little boxes with straws). Parker still sleeps in my bed about 50% of the time, and the other 50% of the time I sleep with him in his bed. I just love to snuggle up to him and I figure why not, pretty soon he will be too old and won't let me sleep with him. We have a baby kitten and both my boys are such animal lovers that this poor little kitten will be lucky to survive being handled, hauled, and cuddled every second of the day. Now that school is out, Tyson is keeping busy with his dad's farm. Somedays I wish he could just stay home, but when he does he goes crazy and makes me crazy. He is a busy body and always needs something to do. I guess I am glad. I couldn't stand to see him sit on the couch all summer. Next week will be our 10 year reunion and guess where we are going. We will be together the entire week enjoying an MTI Mathematics class/training. Doesn't that sound like fun? I am totally dreading it. Everyday next week from 8:30-4:30 in Preston. Maybe when it's over we can celebrate our making it 10 years. I can't believe that it has been 10 years. Time flies when you are happy! Thank you Tyson for 10 years of happiness!

Good Times

Our trip to Disney Land was different then I had imagined. In January when we decided to go, all I could think of was California and sun. Well, the sun was definately NOT shining in California while we were there, but we still had a GREAT time. We were prepared with our ponchos and that was a very good thing because the first day we were there we really needed them. It rained for a good four hours straight. But, by dang I paid lots of money to be there and I wasn't about to let the down pour ruin our fun. We toughed through it and the lines weren't bad and we had a really good time. Our kids thought we were driving. We surprised them by pulling into the Salt Lake City Airport. Jaxon kept saying look at all the airplanes. Look how close they are. Wow! Look at that one, then finally he said, "Where are we? Why are you parking the car here?" It was SO SO MUCH FUN!!! I was a little worried when we had to actually go outside to get on our tiny little plane, but we made it.

These are Nicky's (Tyson's sister) kids. They were with us the first day. It was so fun to spend time with them and to watch our kids build cousin memories. It worked out great because I was able to go on rides with Tyson while they sat with Parker and we watched their baby Camden while they went together. I think we should make this a tradition.

We got to see most of the characters. Parker was totally amazed by them. He would just stand there and stare at them with the biggest smile on his face. When he hugged Goofy, I had to seriously pull him off. My favorite is always Minnie. Notice the stocking hats on my boys. They had to wear them almost the entire time.

Jaxon's cousins Ryan and Jack always talk about how they got picked for the Jedi training when they went to Disney Land. Well, this was #1 on Jaxon's list of things to do. The first day, just before the down pour, he tried and didn't get picked and it crushed him, but he was a good sport. I just knew we were going to spend all three days waiting for the next show praying he'd get picked, but luckily, the next time we tried he was lucky enough to get picked. Those of you who don't know Jaxon too well, he is a HUGE HUGE fan of Star Wars. He collects all the little action figures, watches the movies and cartoons every chance he gets and plays any Star Wars games he can. So when he got picked to be in the Jedi training and got to fight this freaky Star Wars guy (Darth Moll???) he was way excited. It was so fun to watch him.

This is a picture of Jaxon on the last day. We were waiting in a line for the Aladin show. He decided to sit down and wait. A minute later I looked down and he had fallen asleep on the ground with his head between my legs. It had been a long, and eventful three days and he did just what I wished I could do at that moment.

I can't wait to go back again. Disney Land really is the most happy place on earth. Parker hasn't stopped talking about it. Yesterday at the doctor, he sat there and told Dr. Gibby all about Disney Land, and how he was brave and how the pirates were really just robots and that he got to see star wars guys and Woody and the mean fish in the water and he was laying on the ground showing him how the sharks swim with their tail and how the snow monster tried to get Jaxon and next time he can go on Splash Mountain and on and on. I can't believe all the details that he can remember. It was definately worth it. I am already ready to go back.

COME ON ALREADY!!!!

Maybe if I change my background from Valentines day, to something GREEN, February will end. I hate to be a complainer, but sometimes I wonder why I live in Idaho when I hate winter SO BAD. By the way, I do realize that I have lots to be thankful for, but I just want to say COME ON ALREADY SPRING GET HERE!!! I can't wait for track season, I can't wait to take my cute little boys on bike rides, I can't wait for a relaxing SPRING BREAK, I can't wait to jog outside everyday that I want to, not just when it's warm enough, I can't wait for four-wheeler rides, I can't wait to ride horses, AND I REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR WARMTH!!! AAAAA warmth!!!!!!! One more thing, I can't wait for the roadshow to be over with. Then maybe I can blog more often OH YEAH!

Disney Land

I am really excited because we are going to Disney Land in February. Here is how we are doing it. We are flying out on Thursday Feb. 12th at 7:30. We will go to work that day and just head straight for the airport right from school. Here is the REALLY fun part, our kids don't know. We are going to have the bags packed in the trunk and tell them we are going to Salt Lake or somewhere. Then when we get to the airport we will break the news to them. I can hardly wait. Jaxon, like most kids has always wanted to fly in a "real live" airplane. I don't know if he'll be more excited for Disney Land or to fly. Here is another cool part. It just so happens that Nicky, Ira & kids AND Chelsi, Tate & Colby will most likely be there at least one of the same days as us. Good timing (for us anyways). The last time we went to Disney Land Parker was only 4 weeks old. What was I thinking? I don't think I was. I am so excited and since I can't tell my kids and have to keep it quiet in the house, I had to blog about it, I had to tell someone. So, pray for good Anahiem weather in February. I would LOVE to see the sun again!!!

BIRTHDAY BOY

Happy Birthday Jaxon!!!

I can't believe that seven years ago I had been in the hospital for 10 weeks just praying this sweet little boy would survive. He truly is my little (or not so little anymore) miracle boy.

I got to visit his first grade class and tell some fun stories about him.

His Aunt Toni had a bunch of balloons tied to a cute little monkey delivered to his class. What a very fun surprise for him. Like he always says, Toni spoils him-and she really does.
